The Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom is a national organization whose mission is "to build trust, respect, and relationships between North American Muslim and Jewish women and teenage girls. Through these relationships, the women/girls commit to work together:

• To limit acts of anti-Muslim and anti-Jewish sentiment

• Stand up to hate against one another

• Engage in social action work

In December of 2018, their Nassau Chapter decided to engage in some charitable contribution work and selected Hannah's Project as their venture.
